I am New Student (18RS, 18IP, 18MR, 18MS), How  can I get Canteen Card service?

After Getting registered with institute(getting wifi user id and password), Please come to canteen with your ID card and pay preferably  ₹1000-2500  using your ATM/DEBIT/Credit Card and get your Card Service activated. Till then  you get ID card,  you can take food by cash counter.

I have lost my card, what to do next?  

Immediately inform us and  you have to request for New ID card from office of Academic affairs.To take  food you can use 1) health insurance card issued by IISER Kolkata or 2.Dully signed and stamped  Current semester registration slip (till you get your New ID card)

 I am going to home/summer project in summer or long holidays, what to do?

 Please use " Lock My Mess Card " to save food and prevent any unauthorized use of your card while you are away from campus. Your card will be unlocked when you return.

I have not done any payment yet and project students or PDFs, Staff, Outsider, How to get the Card ?

Currently we have stopped issuing card service to this category due to technical problems in upgrading to Computerized mess billing system. 

Can I use my friends ID card for taking food?

Food service on other's ID card is strictly prohibited. If you try to do so, then presented ID card and your name will be submitted to Student's affairs office for further action.

I am a M.S./PhD student and leaving IISER-K permanently, so How can I get the no dues certificate?

You need to pay the money your dues(if any) then you can get your No Dues certificate Signed by Mess Manager/Accountant with Seal and your mess card account will be closed immediately. Any excess amount will be returned to you in cash or can be transferred to your friend mess card on your request.

Where and How much  I can deposit money for my canteen card?

Fill the form given on  Payment/Recharge Method .

I have deposited the money, but it is not showing in my card?

If you have followed steps Payment/Recharge Method with correct details and  then your card balance will be credited within 48Hours. If your card is not credited even after that time frame please contact accountant (in visiting hour)

My Card is out of Balance, what to do next?

Please recharge your card (minimum ₹500 - maximum ₹10,000/-) as detail given on Payment/Recharge Method and fill the form given on the same page (in the last)

I have used less amount in this month, what will happen to my card balance?

Your balance will be forwarded to next month.

I am going to leave IISER Kolkata , what to do next?

You have to get verified your canteen card and get No Dues certificate from Canteen Manager.

How can I check my card details and due for next month ?

Ans. : Check your last 10 Days statement  .
